LOL^In all seriousness whenever i've had an issue like this and its been rotational i.e wheels out of balance or driveshafts, its always been vibrating at a fixed speed or more of a smaller range of +-10mph or so. The fact you are saying that it does it from 20-90+ makes me think its something a more fundamental like a engine mount being royally shafted or some bush/worn out rubber related issue. When i first had my car I was chasing loads of bits about trying to find a cause. In the end for me it was a bit of everything :s -I replaced the lower engine mount (have you checked this btw?) -a driveshaft -Noticed my dash wasnt properly secured on the passenger footwell (This was making all of the above and below seem worse than it was) -Got my wheels balanced x number of times before finding someone that actually did it and them tell me they were over balanced 10x too much on the wrong side. (FunFact, I lost 500-600g of rotational mass across all 4 wheels that day... That how bad ALL of them were) -a warped brake disc After each of those things being replaced there was a marked improvement until they were finally all done and it was gone, so each one was part of the cause. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
