Anyone in the South West fancy earning a few quid doing a clutch change?

Or recommend a good garage because I've had problems with garages round here.

Cheers

Bit ott. Removing the mounting stud makes it much easier to get the box in and out under the chassis leg.

    Take the engine out? Crazy

Easy job, miles is right 4 hours is plenty for someone experienced. Do them all on my own the box is easy enough to lift in, they are light compared with some ford boxes and evo's etc.

Thanks, but Bulford is too far away unfortunately. A friend has access to a lift, I can manage doing my own servicing etc but I think this is going to be a bit ambitious!

Anyone want to buy a Phase 3 GTi6 with a dodgy clutch, £600?!

If it all comes apart without any rusty bolts 1 1/2 hours should do the trick by yourself, Try do a S16, booked at the same time but they are a pig of a job
