So i bought myself and Audi S4 B5 last friday night.

I bought the car knowing there was a problem with it. It did say the car needed a clutch so i didnt bother testing it i just put it straight onto the back of the truck and took it home.
Had a check over it the other day to find I cant get into 1st or 2nd gear weather or not the car is running. It went straight into 3rd no problem at all and drive fine into 4th, 5th, 6th and reverse with no sign of slipping from the clutch.
I have had a read up and found the synchro is a common problem with the B5 gear boxes so i have managed to sort out another box what i am away to pick up from liverpool now and keep mine to rebuild over time

I am planning on some BBS LM rims and a set of coilovers.

Done a bit tidying up today aswell so here it is at the minute.

Love these cars, I had a B5 and it was really solid even after 10 years. Twin (Bi) turbo aren't they?

That's a tidy looking Audi. What are your long term plans for it?

And by long term, having seen your car history, i mean the next 8 weeks before you decide to sell it again. Wink

Well managed to get 400mile out of an £80 fill up of v power pushing 38mph what i think is unreal out of a 2.7 v6 bi-turbo haha. Sits at 85mph at 3k revs. The car drives mint but needs the tracking setting up and a drop link on the driverside. Other than that its fine. Love having the speed and comfort all in one. Makes up for all them rattle french boxes i have had over the tears LOL
