Lol Sam Can't afford to insure the low boost let alone that Paul.... Out of interest how much is this high boost? I feel 250bhp is no longer enough for me.... Haha

I dont understand the 250 aint enough biz.
167 is nearley enough imo.
I'd love 210hp. But realisitically 250 costs just as much.
I think the difference is a very fast hatch even for todays standards vs a ridiculously fast car in general....
I think former "should" be enough?

It is enough, the fact is its knowing that there is more available that niggles at you and slowly kills the fun of low boost. Human nature, you always want more.

Unfortunately, the above comment is true. Sad

At the moment these cars are definitely not appreciating and I can't see it happening for a long time yet. No

At the end of the day it's an advertised price. Whether it fetches that is yet to be seen.

I would entertain any sort of swaps if I'm honest mate, and mcfc I completely understand what I mean, the emphasis for the sale is definitely a swap, hence the for sale price being high. I am open to sensible offers and I'm not out to mug people off, end of the day it's too good a car to be sat on my drive.

The car has a lot of money chucked at it in the right places in Sam's ownership. It's a good reliable car. The price increase in no way comes near to what's been spent on this. Such as the Clifford alarm system with all its extras wasn't cheap but is a nice extra. Couple that with other things and you'll see why it's up more money.

Unfortunately Aaron, added extras to cars this old don't really bump up the premium these days...

Fair play to Sam for putting it up for a good price with the view in mind of not acheiving it and having a swap, but in reality (and that's what we have to deal with in real life) it's worth about £3500 market value.

After all, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, so I guess it will be "worth" whatever he gets for it in the end. Wink

That's what I'm saying stan. He's spent a lot on it and it's not really reflected in the price. The low boosts that have been selling have mostly had all the good bits removed from what I've seen. This one is kitted out still.

I guess you wouldn't want to swap for a "track prepared" road legal 306??
