It's interesting you ask for that, I have always wanted one of those. Because my car is a late phase 3 it came with a locking cap, and I've always wanted to change it. Will have to keep an eye out for one. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

what's the differences between the caps? how do you mean locking cap? i thought they were all the same and just had the black screw-on cap and then the locking flap over it i noticed the moonstone cap on mine is a bit dicky and you can press it in a little bit and it's wobbly, as if something is broken, maybe the black tab that helps lock it ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

welshpug! wrote: No scrappies or a pug dealer near you? Yeah, I have a Pug dealer at the bottom of the next road, will pop in and order one next time I pass probably. A locking cap isn't such an issue, it's just when you get to a fuel station and pop the cover whilst sitting in the seat only to then have to remember to take your keys with you to unlock the actual cap. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

You'd have to change the whole filler neck to get a screw on cap. |

Indeed I prefer my locking one as to break the clip on cover cap is piece of p**s plus you look cool with your keys hanging out you're filler cap housed in the cover while filing up. ________________________________________ Black X Reg PIII.VGTi 6 A4212 pt 1 A4212 pt 2 Searching the streets of Bristol for 1.36p/day.Joint Kent Leader |
