Before I ring peugeot and back out last minute as the price will make me want to cry, has anyone bought a gearbox mount and a top engine mount from them recently? Any idea how much they are cost wise?________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

I got my Group N hard rubber top and gearbox mount from Skip Browns for £90! Didn't realise Pug price for standard items were almost as much... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Already chocked gilesy made it with a big hammer and a saw ages ago :pGood thing too as i reckon it would be pretty shfted by now otherwise due to the movement. Im unsure the geaebox one is that bad any how so i will likely get that in a month or so but its not urgent. Side note: Has anyone used groupn buffers for the top mount? You can get them on ebay i assume they have less give and therefore the top will not shift as much? Im not sure i want group n mounts though as i heard they vibrate a bit. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

I did not bother with these as once you have the Group N top mount and chock the buffers there is zero movement, so pretty much no need for Group N buffers. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Ah ok, My thought process was that perhaps group N buuferes and a standard mount would give a similar rigid feel without the vibration, as there would be less movement forward and backwards? This is all assuming 205 buffers are the same as a 306 one tbh. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

It's only been parked up for a year, before that it saw hard, active service. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
