I been reading a bit about Federal's today although it was the fz ones. Apparently side wall s are a bit soft.

A 35 profile sidewall on a s**t cheap tyre isint soft lol might be in a 50 tho, just there 135 each an 888's are 245 for rears each an 185 for fronts each

Never thought difference in profile right enough. Other than that I was reading pretty good things about them.

Couple of the guys in our club use them as track tyres, they are 90% as good as a R888, but last 3 times as long.

Plus they dont howl like 888's do on the road.

I rate them, cars feel planted enough with them on.

I'm planning on getting these on the track car. Reviews I've read seem pretty positive as well, quite popular in the States.

Seem very good indeed, although beware on slightly damp cold roads. They don't last well either really.
A lot of them are now on to the 18" NGTC dunlops as they fit the P2 volvos perfectly.

Few folk in e46zone run the 595's an reckon they last longer than 888's won't do many miles just be to save my CSL wheels from the track!!

I've only used them on my m3 and they were prefect great tyre in the dry not used in the wet yet

Complete rubbish from experience, swapped them for some Silverstones and found well over a second on a 39 second run.
Sidewalls far too soft,

Braking on them as well wasn't great either, I'd say at least a car length sooner I had to brake over my normal Silverstone FTZ's
