I just have had an amazing week holidaying with my girlfriend. Was driving home to find a pile of bricks in the road. Did my best to avoid them but ended up a brick stuck in between my wheel and body with the cyclone f**ked a dent in the subframe and a grease nipple snapped off my rollerbearing wishbone bush. FUCK!!!!!!

Unlucky dude, was this in a side street or a dual carraigeway or what?

You'll be able to recover your wishbone nipple, it should come out providing the thread isn't damaged.

Gutted for you mate, hopefully it doesn't take too long or too much cost to sort. Sad

I'll take some later. I am off to find a tap handle, some easy outs and new nipples after work

'kin 'ell! Any idea why there were a load of bricks in the road? Did you get a photo of them and where they were so you can try and get something back for it?

Sounds an awful lot like Mr Smegal fell asleep at the wheel and crashed through someone's house Hmm

LOL. It was only a couple of bricks, but the noise it made when I caught that one sounded like it was a house. Bloody real stone bricks that are larger than normal house bricks.

I took it to a garage so didn't get chance to snap pictures. I figured that if the threads come out, the labour would be less than the cost of me buying some easy outs and a tap set (for the handle) oh the joys of not having my tools with me in Leeds.
