I fear you maybe right Meirion IF it was left outside...But luckily I have it in a nice brand new garage sitting on carpet and covered with a nice cotton cover so it's all snug and ready for another harsh winter. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

It is also constantly hooked up to a battery optimiser and I also run a dehumidifier in the garage during the winter so it's kept in as best condition as possible. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Tart! Best place for it is obviously on the roads! Give me the keys, I'll look after it... Still, got my 8.8 bright zinc coated bolts cut down so I'll fit my fresh kd strut brace tomorrow weather pending. Now to Finnish my solid polished stainless lower one and jobs a gooden. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

I do have to ask, do you intend to get it back on the road after a particular point due to circumstances, or do you just have no use for it? Each time you discuss it, it's always emphasised as being one day/years to come rather than ASAP. ________________________________________ |

dangti6 wrote: or do you just have no use for it? ^^ This... I have a van to use for everyday use and a bike to play with if I fancy a blast. I don't really have a need for it to be honest. dangti6 wrote: Each time you discuss it, it's always emphasised as being one day/years to come rather than ASAP. I will get it back on the road at some point, there is nothing wrong with it, it's all ready to go. I could go and start it and drive it today should I so desire, I just don't want to at the moment. We'll see what the next couple of years bring, might change my mind one day and fire her up. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

So it's MOT'd still then?It did cross my mind why you haven't sold it if you have no use for it. But I suppose it's one of those things which the amount it would sell for wouldn't justify selling it. ________________________________________ |

dangti6 wrote: So it's MOT'd still then? What I meant was I could jump in it and drive it to an MOT station today if I wanted to, i.e. meaning it's perfectly driveable and ready to go versus a car that's sat there in bits. dangti6 wrote: It did cross my mind why you haven't sold it if you have no use for it. But I suppose it's one of those things which the amount it would sell for wouldn't justify selling it. I don't wish to sell it as I have put a lot of time, effort and money into it over the 8 years I've owned it and I'm sure I will get it back out one day and carry on enjoying it. At the moment, I am quite happy for it to sit there and await the day I decide it's time to re-MOT it and rip some tarmac up. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Anyone recommend anywhere to get these? And are they visible once the strut brace is fitted? If so I think I'll paint em!! ________________________________________ CLUB BLACK RALLYE||B8s||60-70mm drop||Black Partner Steels||P1 VTS Rack||Refurbed Beam||Hybrid ARB||VTS Torsion Bar|| |
