Has anybody got pictures of their subframes fitted into the car? Me and Matt are fitting these in the week but the seats are so low on the floor it doesn't seem right________________________________________ Team Black 6 |

If they're made for the 306 they should just bolt into the four original mounting holes I'd have thought. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Eurgh, no idea what's going on there. Worryingly it looks like it's close enough to be the right kit but badly made, rather than just the wrong kit. Why did you not just get the DT kit which bolts straight in as one unit and has the sliders? I can't even see what that kit's trying to do. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

old photo, but you have them upside down. the metal bar would hit the underside of the seat otherwisei used fixed sparco ones with these but in the end i f**ked them off and got proper ones ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Aaaah makes so much more sense now. I only received the flat base and the adjuster to fix to the side though, where did you get the other side rail type bit from? ________________________________________ Team Black 6 |

the sidemounts came with the sparco seats i bought (i got them new, 2x sparco evo's)the only thing i did was space the sidemount up about 5mm off the subframe for some reason, i think it was to make a final seat adjustment ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Hmm strange I only received 1 side mount, although saying that surely I only need 1 for the side wall on the outer side? Or are they needed both sides for the seat to bolt to________________________________________ Team Black 6 |

ohh sorry you mean the actual bit that bolts to the shell, not the bit the seats bolt to visible in my photo? (the upright bits)you only get 1 sidemount per side. you need them exactly as my photo yo have the angled brackets which bolt to the outer sill, and link to the main subframe (you have these on both sides) then you can mount sidemounts depending on your seat like my photo you could always do this: http://i835.photobucket.com/albums/zz272/richard306/seatbars_installed_4.jpg ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

i imagine if you put adjustables ontop of the ones you showed, your seat is going to end up quite high. i once had some Cobra Daytona buckets with adjustable subframes and they sat quite low. i'm 6'3 and they didn't feel overly low so i imagine if you are putting 2 together they may make them quite high. worth a try though________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

The sliders are just cheap ebay jobs and don't look like they will add too much height, I'm not exactly the tallest person going anyway and Matt isn't much taller than me. Hopefully the sliders will be here today so I can fit it all and let you know ________________________________________ Team Black 6 |

That base (albeit up the right way) the sliders bolted to it, the bolt the buckets to slider should be good to go. The buckets are side or bottom mountable so think we are going for bottom mounts with the sliders.Just need bottom mounts for passengers an then we are well away. Also Vaughan did DT get back to you about only sending you one drivers side mount? We need two drivers mounts lol At worst passengers can have a standard seat till we sort it out haha |

Vaughan I assume that's where you got these from mate? Hey mate, With the Sparco kit it does mount in but personally I am absolutely on the floor, and to be honest it's not a fantastic piece of kit. We've ordered up the OMP frames instead as from research I believe them to be of better quality and fitment, and will be using those with sliders. I'm hoping that the OMP frames will sit a little higher, if not I'll have to look into either buying spacers or side mounts. All in all, go OMP. ________________________________________ Team Black 6 |

I had omp basemounts, ended up selling them then got cobra mounts the sliders actually made them to high.now running them fixed(mounted directly from seat to base mount) still could do them going lower mind.I found the whole fitting bucket seats and getting a perfect driveing position very hard, hope you have more luck.________________________________________ Rallye build: 11 November 1998 - a WednesdayTeam rallye, built for track ----Click this if you like rallyes Rallye dead Secret Team Astor... |
