I used RadWeld to "fix" my heater matrix, worked a treat! If that doesn't work, crack some raw eggs in there too! That said I then proceeded to mangle it beyond recognition a few weeks later so f**k knows how long it would have lasted, of course my motto is 'why fix today what can be lazily bodged until tomorrow' so I highly recommend no one follows my advice. ________________________________________ Mechanical genius and purveyour of fine meats - You wan chili saus? |

swiftyboi006 wrote: K-seal? Is this everyday stuff that can be bought anywhere? Would you recommend this over rad weld? Cheers I don't know whether you bought K-seal or radweld mate... But I would recommend K-seal if you can't be bothered to rip out the dash. I know people who have put it in their cars, I've put it in a few where people can't afford a proper repair, and in each case there hasn't been any issues. In fact one of my mates used it in his *s**tty* corsa to repair the head gasket and drove it for over a year without issue... ________________________________________ Deepak Gohil |

I used 'block seal' once to repair a crack in a liner wall on a Pug 106 diesel engine. I had bought the car cheap just to go to work and back and didn't want to start spending big money on it. Drove around for a whole year after with no issues and then sold it on. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
