By all means try the fuel filter, but I suspect the rolling road wasn't very accurate. Have you got a friend with a standard '6' whom you could have a comparison with to see if the car really is slower than it should be?

Your probly right ,I've just got it in my head that there's a problem and there ain't,will give it a service and keep it as that

I did but he got rid of it to get a 205 gti vts or 6 in our view,but even when we were out driving about like ya do mine would fly past his.
