Colin is in a Village not far from Launceston and Sandy is in Saltash.

They certainly know their onions between them. They don't operate a garage as such. I started the day visiting Colin as I needed a new backing plate machining and then nipped over to Sandy for the mapping.

It wasn't a power run per se, but 178 at the wheels was the highest figure I saw flash up as Sandy was putting it through its paces.

Sounds awesome Dan. Weighing up whether to go charged on cams and TB as a next stage for the 205.

The sound is swaying me to TB's and fitting all the charged stuff in and keeping it neat and cool looks like a mission.

Are you running any fancy cams as well?

Standard cams. Had an engine with catcams in, but decided against using that.

Standard 75k mile lump with loads of good history. Sandy had the cam cover off checking the timing and commented that it looked like it had been looked after.

It's all about the noise TBH. I give it a week before I get a section 59.

It's not mint. It's in better condition than most for the age, and the engine wasn't just shoe horned in on a budget like most. I'l copy over a project thread to here if people are interested.

The noise is addictive. The flames it produces may get tiresome though LOL

I did think of it when I was there actually. But out of spite I didn't mention it so you'd be behind schedule.

Figures as always are to be taken with a pinch of salt. I am going to return to where I had it on the rollers when standard back in March as a sort of comparison. The main thing I am impressed with is the throttle response and how much quicker it shoots up the rev range.

Yeah, extra fuel was added in to the map to clear it out. Sandy explained everything but most of it went over my head LOL

I can hear the popping inside and didn't realise it was flaming until someone behind me pointed it out.
