Hi,

OK, firstly, I acknowledge that this is stupidity on my part... Whistle

Pride swallowed...

I've just been changing the clutch on my 6, and I've found myself with a bracket (see photo) that I'm unsure of where it goes. Now, any intelligent person would have taken a photo, made a careful note of things before taking them apart. I let excitement get the better of me......Any tips/advice, please?! I think it's come from somewhere around the gearbox, but could be wrong.

If its any help, i have the same spare bracket in my tat box after rebuilding mine over a 6 month period. I could never work out where the hell it came from so until i can get underneath another 306 i aint got a clue!

Pretty sure its inlet manifold to somewhereRoll eyes

Can't think where it bolts to now off hand,but know I chucked mine when I fitted PTFE gasket as I could not line up holesWhistle

It joins on the the inlet manifold 'support' bracket underneath which comes up from the block.

    Brilliant - cheers guys. If you've been running without them, then I'm not too concerned. I'll have a nose around the inlet manifold, though, just to check.
