as far as i noticed, they ain't the same diameter?got the devil backbox and midsection for a gti and with the 1.8cat there was a lot of play between cat and midsection, while it fits snug with a gti cat (incl the gti manifold obviously) ________________________________________ Team WheelwhoreTeam Limited Edition Astor 306 Francorchamps RIP Virtual Blue 208 GTi quote: I ![]() ![]() |

The 1.8 exhaust is smaller, and the cat & downpipe are different lengths. I had to change the whole exhaust on my XS when I put '6 manifolds on it. ________________________________________ Ph1 306 GTi 6 | RX8 231 S1 | YBR 125 Cafe Racer | MT-03 660 |

Yeh I had the same setup on my old XS. Was just wondering if the middle sections are interchangeable, a mate needs an exhaust for his 1.8 and I've got one lying around. Will just have to get his car up and have a look ________________________________________ '01 Astor Grey GTi6'99 Cherry Rallye |

No it won't fit unfortunately. As said the downpipe/cat are different lengths. I've just changed to a gti6 exhaust on my xs and had to fit the manifold/cat from a 6 aswell. The rear silencer is interchangeable/same part. ________________________________________ |
