Standard airbox and performance filter inside will give the best results/power induction kits in my experience although sound good, lose driveability on these engines for sure ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

induction kits normally suck hot air into engine too unless properly ducted (i.e. not a 50p piece of wrinkly hose cable tied to the filter). ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

no the one inside the airbox. if you take the air filter out and stick your arm up there youl feel it.simply pop the pipe to the throttle body off and push that pipe up it pops out |

Snorkel sits in the top of the airbox. It is a plastic tube. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

well i have fitted my induction kit ,which sounds brilliant when driving, but am woundering what you guys think is the best way to mount it.would you say the way i have done it is the best way as i dont want it down on the floor.?as you can see from pictures i have use part of the old cold air feed to allow more more direct cold air feed,i just need to sort some pipe out for the breather or get hold of another breather pipe if anybody got one for sale? comments and advice will be take on board if i could route it better |
