I'm struggling to get a pair of 306 ones, will Xsara VTS ones fit?
I can't imagine them being different, but the part numbers are not the same...

http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=121066 Apparently its just the springs actually. Athough i would be following what wleshpug says in that thread and using the shocks that are for a 306. After all, whemn the VTS was released magazines and car reviews at the time seemed to think the 306 handled better. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

Hmm.It’s an awkward one really, I’ve currently got a mismatched set of old and new / genuine and pattern parts fitted. That I’m not really that fond of. I’d like to fit the Eibach springs I’ve got, and buy some B8’s – but funds are tight at the moment! This also means I’d need to lower the rear to suit, and also change my insurance to a modified policy. This just seemed a more sensible option to keep me going for a month or two, although after suffering a snapped spring, I’d like to fit a pair of new standard springs if I went down the standard shocker route, for peace of mind really. So, I’ve got three options. New pattern parts – Springs and shockers £160ish Buy standard shocks and fit eibach springs - £80, until I save up for the B8’s Or just bite the bullet and get the B8’s - £300!... Decisions, decisions... Anyone know how much genuine Peugeot springs and shocks are? |
