Your plug is probably manky where the fan cowling plugs in, behind the rad on the right hand side.http://www.peugeotlogic.com/workshop/wshtml/electric/ac306/coolfan2/fanop1.htm I used that guide to diagnose mine. I only had one fan running at full speed as the 12V supply had gone awry on half speed operation which subsequently removed the left fan from the circuit completely in both operations. Have a search on here for info, the fans can be problematic. The good thing is the HDI doesn't call for them much - i left mine for months before bothering to diagnose it as it never called for them. High speed fans are 105 iirc, literally just before the red line. ________________________________________ I'm Si btw![]() Night Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

Hence why i said behind the rad..Open your bonnet stick your head to the right of the peugeot badge and look down at the bottom passenger side corner of the radiator - then move about an inch to the right. Voila. you got fans, you've got electrickery in there somehow. http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=149363 ________________________________________ I'm Si btw![]() Night Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

Yes we know that and as said you need to check that plug for corrosion ? It's nothing to do with rad it's attached to fan cowling ? You will need to remove the front of the car to get to the fan cowling and that plug |

No idea not even sure you can ? Might have to wire in a replacement plug ? Just out of interest my hdi barley gets really hot even in traffic ? My fans never kick in as the temp remains really low ? Is yours heating up quickly ? |

Nitehawk10 wrote: but what i cant understand is if i disconnect the temp sensor the fans will work in default mode but as fast speed That's because its a s**te system when air con is involved. You will end up changing everything and get no where been there done that I assume you aircon is not working ? If so best option is to switch the cooling system wiring to a non air con set up ? This is controlled by a thermostate switch othe rad |
