Rear beam will be fine, it's rock solid and there's no weight at the rear of these cars anyway ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Yep, jack up on the rear sill points and place the stands under the rear beam one each side. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Or as said there are sill points about 8" in from the rear, they have a little folded over tab on them, this would make access a little easier for you as the stands would be further apart, and more stable, which is handy when you are trying wrestle a reluctant exhaust off a car!________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. davewagon wrote: And what about for the front sills, where to jack then? Spread weight with plank of wood or anything? Jack the car on the sills then put the stands between the the 2 big bolts on the sub frame job done as for the rear well that comes up with the front so jack the car up from the front then put the axel stands under the rear sill points. |
