conrad??bottom hose has a bayonet style fitting that can be a pita to loosen/re connect, i would take the thermostat out, undo top hose, get spare rad cap-drill hole in it, then flush system through with hose pipe. do this when the engine's cold though, |

when i took my rad out of my 6 the other month, the bottom hose was completely corroded inside the radiator. infact, i took it apart so i could do the seal as it was leaking. the plan was to just change the rad seal and it ended up looking like this:http://rikky.net/upload/scrap6-2.jpg and i've still got the knackered rad hose. doh ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

I was thinking the same. I'm planning on a custom rad eventually which will just use a normal hose clamp connection. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Agreed, I much prefer the later style. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
