Has anyone done a timed run at Santa Pod or the like in a standard 6/rallye?

Or modified for that matter?

Was thinking I might give it a bash in the interest of statistic curiousity, so would be nice to have an unmodified benchmark.

I've got a car in the garage that can do it in nine seconds flat. Bet you can't guess how much torque it's got.

From memory in my stripped out but standard car i've had a few low 15's (around 15.1). I'm pretty sure Jib and Birk have had 14.9's in theirs which were stripped out with standard engine internals, decats + aftermarket exhausts and induction kits. All on road tyres.

Waiting for Santa Pod to get through all their shows so I can go up there and do RWYB. Curious to what mine can achieve. Any guesses?

GTi6
Stripped (but with full rollcage)
Low boost supercharger setup
Michelin S9C slicks on the front

I'm not great at launching the car though, and my syncro between 1st and 2nd is s**te Laugh

I'd be surprised if my 6 went below 16's, to be honest. I'd imagine late 15's early 16's is normal though.

What's that puny torque figure Kev...........Wink

I managed a 15.8 when mine was completely standard at the Pod. Yes

I haven't run it in it's current spec, be interesting to see what it could do...Hmm
