Having finally decided to break our diablo S reg six - the engine (complete), gearbox, ecu, engine loom, transponder and fob chip are available as a complete unit.

The engine has a documented 150k miles - don't be put off by this because it pulls really well with plenty of low down torque, more than other RS engines i have owned and driven. The engine hardly uses any oil, doesn't smoke at all and above all has the quietest cylinder head i am aware of.

Engine received a full cambelt kit (136 tooth with new bolts) water pump, thermostat and gasket along with ngk spark plugs when I bought the car 12 months ago, since then it had two oil changes (due a third the month of the accident), a set of known good coil packs and a coolant sensor.

The bad bits - the clutch is due a change and the gearbox leaks from around the casing gaskets - god only knows why it just seaps out - coating the casing, only required a 100ml top up in 12 months.
