Anyone local in Glasgow? Need a favour...

My sunroof isn't 100% shut and I've binned the controls, need to borrow someone else's console for 2 mins lol.

Ditching the sunroof ASAP but the rain is shocking just now and it's letting water in.

That would be great mate, PM me your number and I'll fire a text over. I haven't been up to it in 2 weeks, shouldnt be too bad as we covered the sunroof.

Fingers crossed. Razz

Drivers seat is using a Cobra subframe with runner and passenger seat is using a modified OMP fixed item.

Both seat heights are spot on tbh, I'll see how it goes on track as I haven't driven it since fitting them.

Sam, the drivers subframe, which will be the same as yours, has one but the passenger OMP one doesn't.

Lecktorious, drop me a PM with your number bud. Thanks.

Your car looks great Gaz. Thumbs up

I will say the only thing letting it down though is the missing rub strip on the doors. Would look better if the number was over the top imo.

I was planing on taking all the bump strips off and cover the holes with a vinyl. That's the reason I only removed one, to see how it looked.

Got a fair bit done today.

Moved the battery and ECU back.
Relocated the induction setup.
Removed the front arch liners.
Fitted the fire extinguisher (different from pics).
Fitted a new thermostat and housing.
Fitted new clutch cable.
Fitted new throttle cable.
Tidied the rear half of the loom.
Swept/cleared the car out.
Drilled holes in the grille.
Cable-tied various parts.

All in all, had a good wee day on it.

Few pics:

All tucked away again.

My R32 and my cousins Pearl White ST-3.

Booked Knockhill midweek.

Another full day of work done today.

Decat and fitting kit.
Body mouldings.
Spare wheel storage removed.
Gearbox and engine oil changed.
Coolant changed.
Battery secured.
Sunroof sealed.
Painted mirror caps matt black.

Exhaust was a nightmare, every section was bodged together and welded. Took us nearly 3 hours to get the decat done on a ramp.

Managed to get some Ph3 rear lights but changing the wiring was too big a job to do after the decat.

Quick wash and fit the rest of the stickers next week and we're done.

Roll on Knockhill next Sunday.

=D

Couple of pics from today:
