i had a s16 engine on carbs back in the old days....was aldon road tuned to 179bhp and used to cane my mates 180+ longmans 8v in the same car.I can also say my s16 engined 205 with an exhaust cat cam and otherwise standard on bodies must have been pulling 180+ as i could stay with my mates 200 rolling roaded 306 easily.... Rich, what manifold and exhaust are you running with that as I have a 4 branch and lovely system for it though the manifold flanges would need a little work... ________________________________________ 306 less for first time in nearly 7 years. Lets keep it that way... please refuse any offers i make to buy your 306 ( doctors letter supplied by request)Marmite and cheese sandwiches anyone??? Well that no.good then, to be honest I'm fairly happy with it at the moment, so will leave it as it is for now. I'm only going by what I was told had been done by the previous owner. I've had chance to get the learn the car yet.
