Hi all popped to halfords yesterday n brought a set of Bosch multi electrode plugs for my 6 as the plugs haven't been changed for a while I removed the ngk v grooved plugs which were very clean and no signs of breakdown n replaced for the Bosch beauties
Thing is I'm convinced it was more responsive on the ngk's I removed its prob just me it was humid aswell on this mornings drive to work
What plugs are you lot using ?????Dunno

bog standard NGK, don't waste your money on anything else unless its running boost, and even then I believe you just use a different heat rating, will cost you under a tenner and everywhere stock them, don't go to Halfords unless you have a trade card.

Bosch have been known to give issues in pugs, standard fit is Eyquem IIRC, RFN 58 LZ, same as the S16 engine, they state a 60k Km interval!

edit, pug list the EYQUEM - RFC58LS3 on servicebox Smile (£7.15 each)

Bosch plugs are rubbish, Always had issues with them even a brand new set did not work, That should say it all, Again never had any problems with NGK's

NGK Iridiums for me too. As recommended by someone who knows what they're talking aboutThumbs up

However when they do decide to fail (no problems yet), I think on my next service I may use these:

NGK SPARK PLUGS BKR6EIX-LPG LOW PRICE STOCK CODE 3356

Been advised by someone else who owns a gti6 on LPG to use these so will take their advice
