I've got myself a auto dim mirror from a 207/307
Straightforward enough but there's 3 wires??
I was wondering if anybody knew how or even why or better what its for?
One is black-earth I would think.
Others are pink and light purple/dark pink.
I'd get a pic but that would mean catching a glimpse of me, where's my stiff helmet gone???
Thanks andy

Fit it to the screen in a decent position and sit in the car to take a pic.

£5 says you won't be seen*

*You must remove your booster seat beforehand.

Err well, I thought f**k it I'll get another rear view mirror in the first place as mine had gone all floppy on the ball thing!
I've put this one on the ball thing in my car for now and I've yet to do the wiring, it's still a bit floppy compared to what it should be like so I'm going to find another rain sensor mirror hanger bit.
Then instead of drilling the mirror case for the wiring as in the f&q I'm going to try drilling through the ball straight through the hanger into the base bit where the rain sensor cover will hide the wires, this is what the metal hanger and ball thing was like on the dim mirror I've got.
But first I will practice on my old hanger/ball thing and see if it compromises its integrity LOL

I'll nip out in a mo and get a pic of what it looks like, the glass is the same
Size, the plastic surround but is a little thicker/wider than the standard one but it isn't too big, looks
About right, I think anyway, see how it grows, I've got to start using the thing first instead of just fitting shiny bits!
