That looks the nuts mate, I bet the loss of letting me have your Gixxer for £200 would pale into insignificance compared with the overall cost of this project.

Anything you'd change about it? I've seriously been considering this stuff for my house recently. If you could just pour some brake fluid over it and see how it fares, that'd be handy.

Oh and does your house go further back? Or is your workshop now actually half your property LOL

Yes the cost, not something i like to dwell on but its all been worth it i feel, although the amount i have spent and the amount the house is worth is more or less the same but what i have is a perfect house for me and its now modern, cant imagine many wanting a garage that large unless there a car nut like most of us, the missus's mum wants me to turn it into a granny annex for herNo

Before-

After-

just got to keep paying the mortgage for another 13 yearsCrazy

Looks much better now mate, Rover 400 is an awful car.

Thing is, if you'd have moved house instead you'd still not have found anywhere perfect, and it'd cost you £10k just in fees and stamp duty these days. Although it's a big expense, at least you get a house exactly how you want it.

Presumably you have a bed set up in the workshop so you can sleep in it? Or are you still camping on the driveway until the novelty wears off?

Any interior changes to mention? Keen to hear how you've settled in and if there's anything you'd do differently next time.

I'm planning a triple garage for some point in the future.

To be honest it's perfect, although I wish the roof was a little higher, other than that it's a great place to be, sometimes, ok more times better than the house Shock

It has heating, beers and a TV, oh and cars and a tool box, love it.

She did also put flowers in the beds and to be fair hasn't done a bad job, although I have to pick the weeds out, drive still looks good-

It's also had some hammer, as I do tend to bring some jobs home.
