hi all. just paid up, thought i would put some pics up of my 6. I bought it a few months back for £700. Couldnt believe how quick it was after having a 1.1 106. she needs a bit of work, there are a few parking dents about, and it wants a new bootlid. the mid section and backbox dropped to bits so i bought a cheep sportex system for it, apart for that and a good service its all good.

i tried my mates freshly powdercoated 205 wheels on. he wanted them back thowSad

my 6 and ma mates scoob

That is a good price for your age. I bought my first '6' when I was 19 and was paying £2000 a year back then. Yes

Had my '6' at 19 and paid about £600 iirc...pay about £350 for the fabia now Smile had my own insurance policy from the age of 17, no dings or speeding tickets and live in a pretty quiet area crime wise Smile

Welcome along mate Wave

I'm 21 so I guess bringing the age down a tad Razz

Who are you insured with? For the past 2 years I've tried Adrian Flux, Chris Knott etc and Admiral have always been cheapest. My insurance is starting at the weekend and I got it for £730 fully comp.

Oh and get some clear side repeaters and Xsara mist jets Wink best mods!! Yes

i am with direct line at the mo. they were the cheapest by a long way. im hoping it will drop right down in price when i renew as ill be 21 and hopefully 3 years no claims.

i like the sound of the clear side indicators, will have to get my self down the scrappy and have a look for some, although first job is to do full service as i have read on here that the cam belt tensioners have a habit of breaking. Thumbs up

Looks a good buy, give your friend the 1.9 rims back rapidly, i don't know why people think they look good on 306's, i think 90's 3 spokes would look nicer!
I'm 28, had my first '6 at, 28! lol.
