Hi everyone,

Looks like my car is deciding to fall apart atm and it is making a weird tapping knocking noise its hard to describe.

It is not with the engine revs it is dependent on the speed of the car and seems to go away if I tap the brakes. Sometimes it is seriously loud and then it suddenly disappeared??

Just dont get it, but it sounds bad when its making a noise :s

Any help would be much appreciated as always

Thanks guys

Well to be honest we cant do anything in berko as i live at the rear of the high street and parking is very limited and cant really work on it where i live. Plus i also have most of my tools still back at my old house in Tring 6 miles away.

Ideally we need to jack it up and take the front wheels off and have a nose around.

Do you have any tools at home, specifically a jack + axle stands, and a socket set to take the bolts off with?

I maybe around Thurs afternoon and have a job in Southampton in the morning so could pass back through Beaconsfield after work if you have tools + some space to work, failing that i'll have to collect some tools up and pop over/meet sometime
