where the hell does this go? mine is broken, plus the window keeps tilting forward when going down.

Clips on the side of the glass. Couple quid from pug for a new one

    so it just slides up and down the front runner? I thought the glass actually goes into the runner. Sorry I deleted the pic.

    Funnily enough, as you've found; without it the window falls out. It's to guide the window up the runner. Glass does actually go inside the runner, That keeps it straight

    I know it sounds stupid, so to get the guide in you first put the base part in then turn 90 degrees and push fully into the runner. Then just pop the glass in. Does that sound right?

    Just slide it over until the little tab goes into the hole in the glass. Dont stretch it open, just push it on and it will clip into place.

    That sounds simple enough. Once that's in place does the guide then get pushed into the rail?

    As you said, You need to put the plastic guide inside the runner and then push the glass into the guide. Wink

    Hmm This would explain why my window kept falling out last year. Not to worry, i've replaced it with a polycarbonate one to resolve the isse. LOL
