^ he's after a full face not open by the looks of it.

Mike, if you do end up going for that one, buy it on eBay from demon tweeks eBay store. Is cheaper through there than them direct Thumbs up

You only get one head so protect it, that's from both my Bike days and current Race days experience,
As with anything you get what you pay for

Problem I found was that the size differences are only very small as you said, about 2cm between each. Different manufacturers use different padding and sizing, so what's a medium in one was small in another.

I took the hit on a little bit more expense and bought two sizes from DT, then returned the one that didn't fit. Spoke to them before buying them and they said this was absolutely fine.

Maybe it costs you a few quid more but not much when you're talking about a £100 helmet, and it means you can get one that fits perfectly Yes

I've the open face version of this

    RRS lid

I too have micro head, and went for this in XS after trying a sparco lid in small and it being too roomy. That said - I think the 'small' RRS is smaller than the 'small' sparco, so I'd go for that RRS item in a small. (is it possible it write small any more times!?)
