Anyone after a cheap ish rallye aux set up on there 6 to feck off the crapy aircon set up ?

I have just renewed mine and have the old pulley and tensioner available ? They are both well used and spin very freely bit of play in the bearings but hey if you want new get your wallet out as pug charge a small fortune Yes

£35 delivered for both items

You will need a belt as well my old one was er not well LOL

Just the belt and a long m8 bolt

It's nothing special I'll find one and chuck it in if you like

You need to be carefully when installing it as its a fvcker to get to. You need to clean out the bolt holes as well as its different to the Gti 6.

cheers for that, i was looking at it when i was doing my timing belt. it did look a bit of a ball ache.

id never done a timing belt before and managed it on the 6 so i shall give this a bash.

Just be carefully you don't snap a bolt in th block ? It's easily done as the bolt holes on a 6 set up are different to the rallye so you need to de gunk the holes in the block ! You will see what I mean when you get stuck in Yes
