Yes that's an old goodie gem of info. If I did a pub quiz I'd put that in it. It's generally not a well known thing. Bet Stan knows it though.

Okay MOT gratefully received today Happy

Thanks to Carl for getting my car in early doors and sorting the caliper issue!

Just a quick query though to anyone who knows anything about brakes....since Carl bled them on Saturday the pedal feels a bit more spongy than it did before with a bit more travel, now feels a bit more progressive than it was before rather than not much travel before and brakes where either on or off with minimal pedal travel.

Is this likely because there was air in the lines before? Just curious really. Brakes most definately work and bite sharp though, they feel good when i need to use them but just pedal has always felt different in my ownership (never had the brakes bled before)

Had to test them to the max today when i was doing 55mph on a national speed limit road going round a slight corner only to find a bloody horse riding idiot sat in the middle of the road at walking pace, anyway, she stopped sharp Smile
