Thanks I may start an off topic thread for this, to stay within the boundaries of the law.

How does it compare to a hybrid one?

Any disadvantages to going bigger?

I run a hybrid arb, The first time i took it out on a damp road the difference in oversteer was large( i went past a learner driver sideways and i'll never forget the look on his faceLOL .)

In the dry its awsome, the back end is very predictable while providing excellent grip.

It depends how hardcore you want to go.

My car is a weekend toy which does occasional trackdays

£30 for an upper strut brace is cheap, arb 5x that!

Mixed opinion, but if it's either upper strut or nought, would you do it?

I got a kd strut brace and its noticable in a good way on relatively standard set up. I also have a 1"arb which works well with the b6 rears and standard tb's. I got a whiteline brace for sale for collection only if someone wants it for £30. Freshly powder coated feet and the ally finnish brace. Smile
