Need to replace mine as the pulley is buckled so need to know if same across the phases??

As far as I know they are all the same on all Gti 6's and Rallye's across all phases but they are different to other models of 306.

If its just the pump I can't see it bein different, the difference with a 6 or Rallye is the Ram length I believe..... Unsure

Jeffers is correct. Yes

Pump is the same, ram has a separate part number due to having shorter travel to compensate for having a longer gearbox than the 5-speed varieties. Smile

Pump is different to all other 5 speed varieties too other than 16 valve Xsi as far as I know.

Yes, the pump off a diesel variety is different thats for sure. However, I think the petrol ones are all the same...Unsure

I'm sure Welshpug or someone will confirm.

I know the 8 Valve Xsi, S16 and 1.8 xs's I've seen have all run different pumps to the Gti 6 and Rallye's

Either way worth making the OP aware it's worth double checking even if I am wrong.

Ta did think of just changing pulley but will probably change whole unit incase its the shaft and not just the pulley as plenty on ebay,

Having looked around, it would apppear there are slight differences Ryan you were right. Thumbs up
