I've just not got round to it yet, plus not sure how well it'll work as my work schedule is a little hectic, sometimes I end up working on days I was meant to have off at the last minute but it is something I would love to do. Good railway this one. Travelled on it a few times. I think they still have David shepards black prince there. Yes The G&WR is the Permanent home of David Shepherd's 'Black Prince' (92203). I have had the privalige of standing on her footplate during a visit to The G&WR one summer although she was not in steam at the time, IIRC they were carrying out a minor overhaul (replacing boiler tubes) at the time. Picture Is from when she visited The East Somerset Railway recently, Black Prince's first home after David Shepherd bought her and a 4f(which he named 'Green Knight')from BR in the late '60s. I know too much ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |
