Thats the twist i was taking the car to have harness points welded in it was just 4-5 mile drive to the garage so decided to take the risk which is the only time in 17 years of driving

Absolutely, its been a proven fact that the older you get the quicker the time does go by, not by appearance either. Whether that is because of a person memory ability im not sure. I watched a documentary about it a while back.
