Take the air bag off (disconnect battery - 2 torx screws behind) and then you'll have access to the nut holding the wheel on.________________________________________ |

Tip when you remove the center torx bolt leave it in a few threads before yanking on wheel i have seen so many mates remove bolt fully then give a yank and bang wheel in the face ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

Also I'm pretty sure the wheel wont come off if the steering lock is on so if you have any problems check that. Some of them can be on quite tight and rather than pull I find it's best to hit it onwards first and they usually slide off with no problem, this avoids the wrestling match that as Simon has said will usually end with you smacking yourself in the head. ________________________________________ Ryan |

who invented this airbag myth about unplugging the battery?! i hear it all the time and it's complete bo***cks. i never disconnect the battery to mess with airbags. power isn't suddenly going to be sent to the airbag. i suppose it's a 'safe' thing to do but completely overkill IMO________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

seen one go off? i've done better than that anyway, they don't go off some some unknown reason when unplugging them as you would expect really. why power would be sent to them when unplugged is beyond me but nevermind. i'd hazard a guess that they wouldn't go off due to so many 306's having a faulty airbag circuit anyway.. ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Depends if its phase 1 or 2/3. One have nuts, 2/3 has the torx bit.________________________________________ owain wrote: A GTI-6 with a good dashboard and the seats down can outsprint an E46 M3 in July. |
