they'll fit with 307 calipers.

but they do weigh a CHUFFING TON.

you have a diseasel, stick with the 266mm standards and good pads.

already got gti6 anchors up front, and i will admit, the 283's are better but the 266's would have

done the job quite adequately! However my discs are warped.....

tbh i wasnt aware that 302mm discs were available for pugs so after hearing about it i thought it

had to be worth asking!!

no, they are specific to the caliper, you'd need the 307 carriers.

apparentlu quite rare to warp a disc, usually poor pad choice leaving deposits on the disc when they melt

...think i'll not bother with 302's, my discs and pads came from ECP, and for first few hundered miles they felt s**te but now

feel ok apart from being warped, heavy braking and deep puddle to blame me thinks!

Is it the discs that are heavy or the calipers?
If its the discs is anyone clever enough to figure out if I can get bells and rotors in the same dimensions for a 306?

discs weigh 8.42kg each, standard 283's weigh 5.95kg, original calipers are about 6 kg.

Hmmm. Bells and rotors then, no point in 2kg calipers if the discs weigh that

How wide are the 302 discs again? I think HI-spec might do rotors that would work
although this is a little off poutting. Old. but still

feck.

Whats the deal with bells and rotors etc. Is it a case of all the bells for our cars are the same and the you just need rotors in the size you want?
Or do bells come suited to invidual rotor widths and sizes?

To a point, most brands have a few bolt patterns depending on the diameter of the disc+bell combo, and of course the offsets can be varied.

Hmmm this is tough. I don't really get working out disc sizes etc. for example I'm sure the 807 v6 had bigger and thicker discs than that, I kind of get the difference in diameter as the hubs are not the same. but surely the thickness is thickness you know?

Oh really?
I though they were 400+ each?
In that case i might just pick them up through Peugeot(I'll give Cardiff a go this time instead of Newport, they rip you off big style)

Just need to sort lighter discs now

Indeed, they only list one type for the 807 I do believe, part no 4401F4/5 for left and right.

Or from here delivered for 388 Euro, but may not be genuine brembo ones.
