Underneath each user's name you'll now see these two little buttons

If you find that specific reply to be helpful, click the +1 button. If it's unhelpful, click the -1 button. You only get one vote per post, so you can't change your mind.

There's no need to click either of these unless it's exactly what you need, or exactly what you don't need.

These points will only be used to alert admin to potential problem threads, and highlight the useful ones, and the number of + or - points a specific user gets is not visible.

That is all Thumbs up

maybe give you the option of confirming? as i clicked it by mistake on a thread a second ago and it was a negative one Doh also what about a green for + and red for negative or something [looks quite hard to read on my darker screen here!] or maybe even hands or thumbs up / thumbs down

looking good though, liking it

also, not relating to this, but is it worth the main page where it shows all the members, is it worth showing the unpaid members (ie guests now / spectators) in a slightly different colour? Smile

I "thanked" you for this addition.

How does the user get notified?

Webster - user doesn't get notified. We don't want it to turn into a popularity competition, so it's really to help admin more than anything else.

Rikky, I like the change of user colours, will do that.

Dan, you'll probably need to Ctrl-F5 to force refresh your browser.

Which colour would you say screams poverty? A light grey?
