marco gti6,.. PM'd me and asked me if i'd look into using the 6/Rallye logo i designed last year for the forum keyring
and see if i could make it into a window sticker,..

I will still get the keyrings made up,.. be using the same place as the last batch that were made up,..

Moc up

but back on topic,...
so the design I'm thinking would be,..

a 5 colour design decal
but the only part that would be white would be the web address
these would also be printed in reverse to fit on the inside of the glass (not a problem to have some printed to stick on the outside)

I've yet to send off the art work for pricing but what's the general thought for these?

and a Moc up of how they could look on the car!

Looks good Dave, although isn't as subtle as the older design. I have the older design, and I think its a nice touch. Not sure I would want a great big logo in the window, although some people might.

Either way, good effort! Thumbs up

I think we should get an offical one going, I like the 6/rallye thing gnrlee did above Smile
Especially if we could bring teh 306 up a touch and get everything looking like original peugeot fonts. Both for the 306 and the GTi-6 bits

Yes this could be very easily done!
but to make it official it needs to be run past the Captain for approval once we reach a final design,..
then I'll adapt the club keyring design to match

I wouldn't mind! if these is what people want?

    Looking good Lee Thumbs up

So the reason i askeg gnrlee if this would be possible is the fact that since i joined the forum in 2009 i have seen some forum sticker threads appear, but all were basically the same. (The name of the site and "Gti 6 and rallye owners club underneath"Wink

These were never really appealing to me. Now since i got my 2012 calendar at work and at home i kept looking at the logo gnrlee designed and i thought that this would look much nicer than the long boring ones i have seen since joining the club.

Size is definately we would have to consider as some might want a bigger one and others a smaler one. But personally i think these would look better than the ones we've had so far.

If we could get the approval of the captain to make them official would be even cooler. All other car forums have lots of merchandising, why wouldn't we have some.

I have been raving about the alloy sill guards with the GTI6 logo since i signed up. Unfortunately it seems to have been a one off batch.
So... what do you guys think about getting some official stickers, keyrings and maybe a new batch of sill guards :whisle

Thanks lee, that is the type of logo i was having in mind Thumbs up The thing is i desperately want one in that style as the previous owner of my GTI6 shell had a lion airbrushed or engraved on both rear windows wich i dont like at all

"Owners club" would be a thing that would still be cool without over doing the logo.
As said before mate i'm in for some

i'll just email you a hi res image of it or do the vector art work to get them cut Smile
