Hi all I'm having a bit of a problem now I've fitted my coilovers, I can't get the leg to stay straight meaning the hub sits wonky against the coilover leg. This is giving me neg camber and messing with the steering. Is there a chance the hub is fooked? The leg isn't a tight fit against the hub anymore, hence is lies at an angle, as in this pic . Worst case would be the leg of the coilover is crushed/ bent. Anyone any idea? Oh and it bloody clatters over the bumps even though the pinch bolt is tight .

The damper and the hub are probably both damaged. You will need to dismantle and inspect to confirm though.

If you mean the ball joint hole then I dot see how this would cause the leg to sit wonky. Can the hub holes deform?

No he means the damper clamp, which is basically just a big version of the balljoint clamp, and could theoretically be ovaled in the same way (though it would require more force to do it).

edit: As above LOL

i had this with my spax coilovers.....put some b8s on a tada sorted.
i think its due to the coilovers being slightly smaller width wise

not likely for the strut clamp to be damaged, though the bottom of the struts can be bent surprisingly easily.

might have a pic of my brothers strut, it was very fooked, but a replacement damper slid straight in fine.

that bolt looks a tad rusty though, I'd replace that and see if the bottom of the strut is not damaged.

The plan is to take the strut out on Friday and inspect it, then try another hub. I have new bolts on order from Peugeot, see if that helps. I only have this issue on the left though :s

I've got 2 of these bolts, I couldn't get them out of my hubs to replace.

what brand are they? most you can get new bodies, if they're decent ones and used its probably worth getting both serviced.

D2, aka Ksport, aka xyz ( supposedly). d2 and ksport no longer have uk dealerships. I rang xyz and they were able to offer me a replacement lower leg for 100 from taiwan, however they weren't sure it would fit and offered no returns.
