Does blacking them sort of not render them ever so slightly useless? As there would be no light projected forwards?

yeah that's probably just it,.. all fogs really do is pick out road markings a little better and be seen that little bit better in dense fog if it's that bad use main beams!

there's not even a necessity to have fogs at all,..
so more of a style mod than a practical one! Wink

they still hurt if you look directly at them! LOL
