any 6 radiator should fit but you need to know what you bottom hose connection is? there are 2!
and if your gona get another radiator i'd get a nissens one like this one!

Ebay one £125 all in

in all honesty mate a radiator isnt something you want to skimp on!
that goes and you can Wave bye to your head gasket!

thanks for that - i think a new one would be sufficient - is there an easy way of seeing which connector i have without getting under the car?

from mid phase2 they were the metal clip type, if you are unsure just buy a new bottom hose for about £22+vat, comes with new o-ring.

the linky is for the very early type.

you want this type

few small tips!
if you go for the later push in type with a retaining clip use some silicon sealant around the metal bathroom silicone from wilco should suffice, before pushing it in it makes for a much better seal!
and gently roll the pipe in mini circles as you massage it in to stop the O-Ring from twisting and not creating a good enough seal!

and to fit it's much easier if you remove the headlight/grille/Slam panel,.. Wink

no need for any sealant, just a new o-ring.

bathroom stuff is probably the worst stuff to use too.

don't see why? Dunno let it set! it just aids the seal a little better doesn't it?

I got new O-Ring went in fine,. eventually LOL dripped like a mo-fo!
used sealant Job Jobbed! not a problem since!

I'd just do as WP suggested. Buy a new pipe and do them together.

For the price of the pipe it's good piece of mind that it will seal well.

ive got a nearly new nissens rad which is in very good condition but ive poked four holes through the fins to mount a slimline fan to it. Makes no operational difference just might look alarming. £75 posted. plus i have a nearly new pug bottom hose to go with it if you want £10 so £85 all in.

Ive only ever used a bit of moly grease on the bottom joint as it gets rusted shut otherwise which makes removing an old rad a total b**ch without cutting bottom hose off.
