Hi guys, I have a ph1. It hasn't got a build number on the driver turret, OR a sticker on the passenger side, well it has one that says POXY lolthe vin is VFR which indicates France. Is there a way to find the build number?!

Yes they were all built in France.

Why do you need the build number?

poxy is the paint code onyx black.

All 306's have vf at the start of there chassis numbers, regardless of being built in france or coventry. confirming the place of build is on the end of the rp number. 83 for coventry, 81 for france.

build number is usually on the drivers front strut top.

I don't have a build number......
I wanted to find out what day it was made was all.
I added the France bit as there is a thread in FAQ that says most p1&2 were built in ryton, maybe this needs changing if they were all French built.

Ignore the VIN - Peugeot did not follow convention.

The only way to find out is via Build Code (so in your case via servicebox)
