Right guys, time has come to move on from my low boost supercharged six. I hope Admin don't mind me having a thread up here aswell as in the classifieds.

Hopefully most of you know the spec of this car, and everything done to it since my ownership is on this project thread: Project

I bought this car back in November 2009 I believe, it was off Roland Rat who looked after the car very well, he supercharged it himself and when I bought it I had it RR'd at 249.8bhp which I have a print out for. After that I had all the boost pipes redone as there were holes in all the silcone joining pipes and the ECU was shot, so I would like to think it would make more than the amount it was RR'd at.

The car need an MOT done on 20th April and if bought before Monday (long shot I know) you will get tax till Feb 2013 as I believe I need to declare it off road when the insurance is taken away. A full service with Royal purple oil was carried out in November and throughout its life has only ever had Royal Purple.

Recently done to the car is a new battery in January and new droplinks, TRE's; and ball joints (all less than 3k old)

The spec of the car is as follows:

Low boost supercharger with fitting kit
Satreb oil cooler
RX-7 intercooler with high boost pipework
Magnex backbox with straight through pipe and decat
Nissens alloy radiator
Lowered 30mm by Avo coilovers
Roller bearing wishbone bushes (less than 3k old)
Lightened flywheel
Uprated Gear Linkage Rods
Lightened pullies
Solid gearbox mount
G.E quickshift
Anthracite OMP strut brace
Phillipm lower strut brace
AEM AFR gauge with wideband lambda
AEM Boost Gauge (4 months old)
16inch Speedline Comp 2s in White (6 months old)
315mm AP Racing brake set up (6 months old)
Mr Swampy braided brake lines
Genuine Valeo Black Masks
Rear brakes: Greenstuff pads, Grooved discs
S16 blue carpet

The car has always had everything changed when needed and in the 2 and a half years of ownership I have probably spent over 2.5k on it.

Mileage is 89k and the car has had 5 previous owners

Cambelt was done on 66k so I would say it needs doing soon to be on the safe side

Interior is not in the best of condition as I have taken the seats out of Rich's HB, the rears are fine but the front two have wear to the metial and a small hole on the drivers side. The bodywork is very good for its age with a dent on the back and a dent on the drivers rear arch being pretty much all thats wrong with it (other than the usual stone chips for its age)

Asking price is £4500ono but am willing to negotiate if there are parts on the car you dont want.

Any questions feel free to pm me

Thanks for reading.

That's correct, but the cambelt has been done 22k ago so it definatly doesn't need doing straight away as they need to be done before 36k, I'm just being as honest as I can. Tax again isn't my fault as it needs to be declared off road, and an MOT only cost £50 which I will probably get done as I'm confident it will pass.

This looks well considering it was a cat c salvage car picked out of my local scrapyard Thumbs up

In the 18 months i had the car i spend 10k upwards on it so i know its a cracking car.a good machine polish and a quick visit from the dent guy would make it truely mint once again.

P.S for any of the f**kwits who think its been written off,it hasn't. Wink

Sorry didn’t mean to be rude and I hope you get as much as possible, I was just stating the obvious and having gone through the ball aching process of selling one myself your in for a long drawn out process of timewasters and stupid part ex offers

PS surely you knew you were going to get opinions on pricing by putting up an open thread?? The classifieds are locked for this very reason

On the subject of stupid part ex offers, would you consider it or just a no go and you're not looking for another car? I've not long become the second owner of a Bianca Rallye, 123k miles, has had 2 cam belts, the last one was done early last year and not done many miles since, has had a new powersteering pump in it's lifetime, new exhaust from cat back a year or 2 ago and I am putting a sports cat on it tomorrow, which ecosse is fitting. The seat's been replaced, I still have the original seat, but it's totally buggered. It's got a leather steering wheel on it. The folder of history is pretty huge, owned by a doctor (his hoose was HUGE just outside Aberdeen) and he was so sad to see the car go that he wanted me to stay for tea! haha. Let me know if you're interested or if it's not an option Smile I like it but a fast road car for 6k miles a year sounds like a grand idea...
