Can I ask why only reliable for 8k or so if fitted with uprated parts designed for high boost? Or did you mean run in / used for 8k or so?

Yes, I built this engine from scratch in early 2009 and then ran it high boost for that year covering around 8k...it didn't miss a beat. As John says, always been run on V-Power from new and very reliable. The only reason it was changed was because I had to have a lower compression engine than this one to take advantage of the bigger supercharger. Smile

Well I thought my pistons was just the same as the high boost ones, I didn't realise they was lower compression again.

Yes, Clen666 is correct the compression on this engine is 9:1, on the Super High Boost it is 8:1 to take the extra boost pressure.
