Hi,

I have just had a full performance system and uprated manifold put on my rallye. Big grin
Unfortunatley the manifold seems to knock on the underside of the car. Has this happened to anyone else?
I have been advised to upgrade my engine mounts to baker bm and check the exhaust hangers.

Thanks in advance.

Might be worth check the top one, mine does this and its down to top mount cradle being broken. Will be fixed soon though. Smile
Its worth a look. I know my bottom mount has a split too. So all 3 getting changed, should sort it right out.

What manifold is it? but the bottom mount you can either use a std bush rotated 90 degrees or a hard rubber from Vibra Tech or BBM etc

Why does rotating the mount make a difference then as its round.

The way the bush is made, by turning it 90 degrees you use the stiffer part of the mount for forward/back movement making the mount appear to be more solid than before. Wink
