You can always make some yourself and sell them for less. Good luck with that though Thumbs up

Huh? Confused if you think it's worth 350 just say so???

Sorry but you were stating your opinion on the price on an open forum. Expect to get a response. If you think the goods are not worth the money, take that up with the manufacturer. We have been waiting a very long time for this to come up for sale so dont need negative comments before a single sale is made. This is not your average quick-shift crap.

Take your pad out fella I assume it's rag week yes?? The lol at the end of my comment should of showed you it was a light hearted remark so just save the over dramatics hey

Perhaps i was a bit strong on the reply but you were a bit disrespectful there. If you buy it and think its crap, feel free to tell us. Who know's, if the product is really good, the price might go up like the L&B flywheels did.

I never commented on the build quality or the materials used etc i was simply meaning that 350 quick for a gear linkage is alot of money. I mean you can buy a full 2nd hand motor with ancillaries for 350. But with that said if they are that good (and time will ofcourse tell us) then I would buy one myself. No disrespect shown or intended in my bookThumbs up

So by the looks of it one will have to loose the lower center dash part where the ashtray sits in order to fit this?

From what iv been told the kit can be used with the heater in situ, the picture on kam website is just one off the 205/106 ones as the actual 306 ones haven't even been powdercoated yet

Saying that... Looking on the there Facebook page the linkage bar does appear to be straight and will need the heater removed!
I'm not bothered either way, I'll just buy a little heater if I have too

Never underestimate a company's flexibility when it comes to making a guaranteed profit. If you think kam racing are paying anywhere near 330 quid per item you must be kidding

Colin will charge the same amount from his website, it's taken 2 years for them to even think about making them so I don't think he is guaranteeing on these sales, if a company is that well known for making great quality parts the can charge what they like and people like me wil pay it lol

This entire thread was to gauge how many ppl would want one, no mention of a group buy discount

I may be wrong but can't see him doing a discount

they've been thinking of doing this for a few years, just havent got the time till recently, nor had a 306 been in the workshop for long enough with a heater box to sort it out.

a 206 shifter was done a few months ago because they had a 206 in for a while.

Can anyone confirm whether a group buy is ever likely to happen?

Just want confirmation before placing an order

Best to ask Colin but I very much doubt it! Just order one from kam racing if you want to guarantee one of the few made!
I paid a week or so ago and have heard nothing! But at least one is definitely mine Smile

Let's just wait until a car hasn't been made for 14 years - then we'll really have a market to sell into. Who's head of their product development? LOL

group buys are bull s**te someone will need to stump up the cash up front then get people to buy in once the thing is ready - I did this years ago with lions cost me 2k grand to buy the last available sets. I then got people to pay a deposit first then the rest once ready to ship

It was just a farmer in a shed (albeit a very talented one!) with a load of machining tools and cnc machinery till recently, with a few mates helping out here and there! Tigger Dave works with Colin now so things on the design side are moving quicker but you still need a car to work from for things like these.

I have one now, will take pics asap, might be a little while before its installed due to the fuel pum dying on the ZX but I think another customer has one so hopefully will have some more detail on the installation soon.

Group buys are unlikely due to the small quantities, its difficult to make them any cheaper.
