I actually owned an Impreza a few years ago and decided although it was quick and i loved the noise it wasn't worth the extra over my GTI-6 so sold it.

Nothing ridiculous, ill be swapping my existing insurance onto the new car to keep my no claims. Impreza turbo's are coming in at around £1500 a year which against the £630 I paid for my 182 is a bit silly IMO.I actually owned an Impreza a few years ago and decided although it was quick and i loved the noise it wasn't worth the extra over my GTI-6 so sold it. ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

I'd be game for a Ka Sport, had a basic Ka once as a courtesy car and it was a barrel of laughs until I drove it into a Volvo. MX5's are just brilliant too. These days big engines and power are nothing compared to a good chassis. Driving close to the cars limits at 60-70mph makes for a much more rewarding drive than driving no where near the cars limits at 80mph+... ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Opted for a MK2 MR2 in the end. Its the Rev 3 version so has the 175bhp engine. Its much faster than i expected (much quicker than a 6) but i havent got much confidence in the bends in it.Bit of a shed cosmetically, few rust patches but mechanically seems spot on and has a decent history. Tax & MOT'd for £550 so cant complain too much. ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |
